Hi all :)

Im sorry in advance if this is a newbie question.

Green Network is 192.168.1.x
Orange Network is 192.168.10.x

Ip for pc on green are assigned by dhcp from ipcop

I've installed the client software on external pc like laptop and the installation
was ok.

When the client connect by openvpn, the client get an ip like: 10.0.0.x
so the machine on green network, and some other on the orange network
become unreachable.

I've try to set the OpenVpn subnet to 192.168.1.x
The error is:
OpenVPN Subnet overlaps with : IPCop Green Network 192.168.1.100

Im very sorry for this question but:
1) Im not a sysadmin
2) Im not an expert in information tecnology.

Thank you all in advance

RaouL.

Hello

192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 and 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0 are different subnets, how should they overlap ? I can't see the problem.

Because i've try to set the OpenVpn Subnet to 192.168.1.x./255.255.255.0

If i leave the OpenVpn Subnet to 10.0.0.x/255.255.255.0 (default), when a client is connected, it was unable to reach machine on green or on orange .

Thank you !!

forgotten routes ! I think... all other problems are depending to the special konigurations there...
How the DMZ is be done ? Reg + green sounds like a IPCop(?)
Simplt use routing settings and/or BOT ...

Hello :)

IpCop is Red + Green + Orange.

I've installed Zerina Add On for ipcop.

Where can i find and manage settings for routing ?

Once more again.... i'm very sorry to my newbie question, but im not an
expert in IT.

Thank you again.

RaouL.

make an entry in /etc/trc.d/rc.local
use vi, nano, pico or joe (add-on)

syntax: route --help shows how to
and - NO - there is no GUI to set routes...
