Hi

I am using ZERINA-0.9.5b with ipcop 1.4.21

Client connection status on the gui says active even after that client has actually disconnected.
The only way to reset this is to restart the vpn.
Any fix for this?

Also the script deleting the routes with /sbin/route del -net .... doesn't work
(which is expected if openvpn drops root - but won't this leave many old routes still active?)

Thanks for your help. :D

reinstalled and looks like the disconnected connections are timing out ok. :)

still not sure if there are any negative consequences from not being able to delete the route?

di you need a fix ... or "only" plenty of time...
by the way you will have to reload the shown websites it manually...
really working ist connection state ...see lowest button on openVPN-webpage
and...it will not happen very quickly... look for logging -> comparing with a ping to the target, and you will find: log comes later -no real time logging- and GUI-view follows the log, again not in real time!

Hello

Be aware that UDP is stateless, so disconnects are not detected immediately. Usually OpenVPN uses ping / ping-restart / keepalive to determine when clients should be considered disconnected.

You may add "explicit-exit-notify" to your client.conf to inform the server of the disconnect.
