Guys.

I have got Zerina up and running and i can connect and get the IP adddress that is assigned to me.

However if i try to ping any address on the local 10.10.x.x which is at my company i dont get a reply at all.

Is there anything you can think i need to do extra?

My company subnet is 10.10.0.0 /255.255.0.0 and the address OpenVPn has assigned to me is 10.179.4.6/255.255.255.0

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. also when i do ipconfig i dont have a default gateway for the openvpm connection is that correct?

Update

when i look at the status logs i see

Ok it would seem it is a Windows Vista \ Windows 7 issue. I run it on XP and it connects and i can ping my servers via DNS so thats good news that i know my setup is working ok.

Does anyone know of a way of getting the client to work under Windows Vista \ 7?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Had the same problem and got it solved.
make sure you route table is clean (no persistant routes that might interfere with the route to your vpn conn) on the vista machine
add the two last lines to your open vpn client config (.ovpn):

#OpenVPN Server conf
tls-client
client
dev tun
proto udp
tun-mtu 1500
###############################################################################
#
# Remote server connection(s).
# The 1-3 remote statements below correspond to the addresses & ports of
# interfaces with the OpenVPN service running on them. Only one can be
# active at any one time; the others must be commented out by placing a hash
# character at the start of their lines.
#
remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1194 # Connect to OpenVPN service
#
###############################################################################
pkcs12 xxxxx.p12
cipher BF-CBC
comp-lzo
verb 3
ns-cert-type server

route-method exe
route-delay 10

Hope it helps

It shows that Im connected to the wifi, but there is no internet access.
Next, I connected an ethernet cable, and there was internet access.

What could be the issue?
Thanks
