Hi
I have problems connecting to to IPCOP with an openVPN linux client.

I am using the following setup on the IPCOP server side:
UMTS modem connected to a windows XPPro which in turn shares this connection to the RED port of IPCOP.

If I connect the Linux client directly to the RED IPCOP everything is working correctly.

I have forwarded UDP/1194 (have tried TCP/1194 with no better luck).
Are there other ports to be forwarded or other considerations, as this seems to be a problem with the link.
BTW what happened to the Zerina log on IPCOP. It went missing on this latest install.

Thanks for a great program.

Regards
Eiliv Haugland

Hi
OpenVPN needs just one port to be forwarded/open. Be aware that many providers will block certain ports. Try using port TCP/80 or TCP/443.

1. ipcop/server ist not possible on UMTS (UMTS uses NAT ..in Germany, in switzerland...)
2. Client comming via UMTS ( to dyn-dns-address or fixed IP)
3. ipcop has been installed correctly

4. use it with mobile win/ubuntu Client with Huawei E172 from UMTS and/or Wlan etc. ...
Serverside on Cable-network and/or DSL..
5. uses port 1194 UDP; port 1192 UDP etc. ....
