Hello
In config OpneVpn file (server) I set Ip adress for server 22.0.0.1 and for client 22.0.0.2/
I use a application witch require to have set static ip in "network connection" (in Windows Xp Contrlo Panel). Default for OpenVpn connection (Tap Win32 Adapter V9) in network connection - TCP/IP property (in Windows) is obtain Ip automaticly - ( i don't know how it is named in englich Windows XP ). I have to set concrete Ip in windows TCP/IP property.
How can i set this ? I try to set in server TCP/IP property :
ip: 22.0.0.1 ( the same i set in config server file)
subnetwork mask : 255.255.255.252
and in client:
ip. 22.0.0.2
subnetwork mask 255.255.255.252
It's work but when i restart Pc the connection will fail.
( The openVpn service I set to start automaticly - to musn't turn on openvpn after every restart of PC)
Can somebody have idea how can I do this ?
Best regards

Hello,

actually no application should require fixed IP addresses set in Windows. There is no direct way to do this. If you are a Windows developer, you may write a small program or script that sets the permanent IP address.

As a second approach you could try setting "ip-win32 netsh" in your client configuration. AFAIK this has the same effect (i.e. it permanently modifies the IP address of the TAP adapter). However, it may or may not work with your Windows version.
